Problem Solving

Here are strategies students might use during this unit:

Strategies specific to units:

9.1 - Use area models and generate patters to explore the distributive property

9.3 - Use appropriate tools to measure line segments

9.5 - Apply distributive strategies to write and solve a number model

9.6 - Use a diagram of the fulcrum/load relationship and a formula to solve mobile problems

9.7 - Use spreadsheet software and spreadsheet formulas to solve problems
