This is were I will post all of the poetry I make.
The Box
By Sarah, Hue,
Olivia B. and Lily.
In the box darkness falls, There is no light in these endless halls, In these empty halls I wonder,
But I have to stop and ponder,
I'm forced to
continue
on,
I must get out before dawn,
Will this
expedition ever end?
I
wonder what is around that bend,
I bump a wall and realize,
This is it, My winning prize!
Bubbling Brook
The water is smooth, and ever somber too, I always thought it was supposed to be blue,
The fish swim to and fro, Under the water in the below,
Their gleaming fins and scaly heads, Are found in the depths of the catfish beds,
Turtles and frogs bathing in the sun, Just waiting to warm back up and have some spishy-spashy fun,
Fisherman on his boat, worm on its hook, This is what happens in the bubbling brook.
The Dog
The dog lay
still, sitting on its rump,
Here comes the ball, bumpety bump bump,
He lay there, still recuperating, From the early morning walk that was exhilerating,
He always expects someone to get the ball, Instead of that it just keeps rolling down the hall,
He lay there still, lazy as a bum, Mabie the reason for his tiredness was because he had a bit too much rum.
