I was born January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. I had one sister and one brother.
I
got married to Coretta Scott in 1953 when I was 23 years old. Two years
later I had my first child and later I had three other children.
I became famous during the Civil Rights movement. I was a minster at
Ebenezer Baptist Chruch in Atlanta, Georgia. When I was alive black
and white people were treated differently.I felt it was wrong so I
fought so everybody can be equal. The march on Washingtion brought
together 200,000 people. I was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. I wrote 5
books. On April 4, 1968. I was shot and killed by James Earl Ray. My
funeral was on April 9, 1968. I told people to love and others said
hate.
I told people I had a dream and it came true. I am Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
