I was born on February 6, 1945 in Jamaica Saint Ann. My dad died when I was 10. I was musically talented at the age of 14.
I married Rita Anderson in 1966
I did 7 tours from 1973 to 1982. Speaking of music I had a band named The Wailers. Catch a Fire was the first album I ever made. Legend, one of my albums, and it sold over 12,000,000 copies.
By 1966 Braithwaite, Kelso and Smith, people in the band, left to go solo then in 1974 the whole band broke up. Even after the break up the band stayed the same.
In December 1974 there was a concert, two days before the concert I was shot, but I did not die I was shot by someone who was hiding in my in my house. Two days later I showed up at the concert.
I died when I was 36, May 11 1982, from cancer. More people went to my funeral than any event in the whole Caribbean. I am Bob Marley.
