I was born on February 7, 1867. I had three sisters and one brother, he died at the age of 8 months. We moved six times in covered wagon! My older sister was blind so it was my job to tell her what was happening.
I married Almanzo Wilder on August 25, 1885 when I was 17. We had one daughter and a son that died a little after 12 days.
In 1932 I wrote about my life. I published a total of eight books. My third book, The Little House On The Prairie was my most famous. My books are written in over 40 languages. The Little House On The Prairie had a TV show made about it, this TV show had 9 seasons.
In my later life Almanzo and I started a Farm called Rocky Ridge. My books brought in a lot of money and that was good since the Great Depression took a great toll on Almanzo and I.
I died in 1957 at age 90. There are many museums in all the places I lived.
I am Laura Ingalls Wilder.
