|  | | | | Joanne Kathleen Rowling | | I was born on July thirty first, nineteen sixty-five in Yate Glouestershire England. I am currently forty-two years old. The first school I went to was St. Michael Primary School. I liked to write stories in the category of fantasy when I was very young. The stories I would write I would normally read to my younger sister Dianne The first story I wrote was about a rabbit, the rabbit’s name was Rabbit. Rabbit got measles and close friends of Rabbit visited him, I wrote this at the age of six.
One day when I was on a trip from Manchester to London there was a four-hour delay. While I was waiting I thought of a boy going to a school of wizardry. When I got to Clapham Junction I started to write about that boy. While writing my book, which would be called Harry Potter, my mother was going through a ten year multiple scleresis. One day when I was writing, Harry Potter, I had hear that my mother had died. After I knew this depressing information, I continued to write but it had changed my writing heavily. I put more detail about Harry and his trouble with death and loved ones. In nineteen ninety-five I finished the manuscript for my book Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. I brought it to Bryon Evans, he read the first three chapters of my book and thought that I should try to get it published. I worked with twelve publishing house except they dismissed the manuscript. A year later in nineteen ninety six Barry Cunningham aloud me to go on with the book because Alice Newton a eight year old, the daughter of Bloomsburg’s chairman, loved the first chapter. Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released on July eighth nineteen ninety seven, it was a big success and came out in the United States of America but under a different name. Harry Potter and the Sorcer’s Stone except now I wish that I kept it ‘Philosopher’s Stone.’ The book one three awards in around the first eight months. Time went by and I came out with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. By the time my fifth book came out it was in more that two hundred countries and in sixty-three different languages. Then Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows came out. The seventh book became on of the four out of seven of my books to break all time sales record with eleven million copies in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
I can’t say I’ll never write another book about that world just because what do I know, in ten years time I might want to return but I think it’s unlikely. But now I’m living my life and taking care of my children.
