Dear Friends,
Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited to be your teacher this year… we are going to have so much fun! Before school starts, I have some jobs for you to try:
1. Draw a picture of yourself in the Summertime. Make sure you write your name on your paper so that we know who made it. Bring your drawing to school on the first day and I will hang it up!
2. Read a book with someone in your family every night. Maybe you can ask them to take you to the library to pick out a few new books too!
3. Sleep well before school starts so that you’ll be ready for all of the fun we’re going to have!

Thank you for taking the time to locate our classroom website. In addition to the Friday Folder that will be sent home each week, this is another great place to look for information regarding our class.
I look forward to meeting all of you at our Kindergarten Playdate on Tuesday, September 1st, from 5:30-7:00 on the East playground. Please plan on bringing your child’s school supplies (the supply list is located on Groveland’s main website). We will have boxes labeled for each item. Once dropped off, all supplies will be divided between the four classrooms and shared, so there is no need to label the items.
Thank you in advance for all of the support you give to your child, it makes such a difference in their learning!
